Yes… I know… I spend as much on phones as most people spend on cars… Every time that I start looking there is a review that promises me that some phone will solve all my problems… and each time, I’m dissapointed.
My last phone (the blackjack) was actually working perfect for me… it sync’d with my calendar, contacts, etc… It had email access… it had internet access… a full keyboard… played mp3s… took pictures… came with 2 batteries!!!
So, when I read all the fantastic reviews about the iPhone, I was pumped… I bought one and to my dissapointment, I’m still not happy… I actually want my money back and I want to go back to the blackjack… Here is what I hate…
- Not a full keyboard… I have to look at my phone as I text
- When I place it on my chin, it always puts people on hold
- The internet is NOT faster
- You can’t bulk delete from your emails
- No third party applications
- It has to sync with iTunes… I hate itunes
you wanted to hate it just because everyone else loves it. You were just looking for a reason.

I’ve not had the chin problem… perhaps you need a tuck?
Also, I agree with you on #4 but think a software update is coming soon to fix that.
#5 is “officially” coming in February, but you can do that now. Go here. (I haven’t done it yet but am waiting for an afternoon to mess with it…)
#6 sounds like sheer PC jealousy and whining….
Apparently it’s not the iPhone you hate. It could be your chin.
My boss and our producer here at work both have iPhones and love them. However, my boss is an Apple fanboy, so anything that Apple rolls out in his opinion is great.
I, on the other hand, have an LG CU500 and I use Gmail on it - sure, a QWERTY board would be great but beggars can’t be choosers. No complaints here!
