I just got home from Florida. I was there for one of my bestfriend’s wedding.

As I was packing and unpacking, I started thinking that there are a lot of things that you either have way too much of or way too little of.

I thought it was funny. Maybe you will too… probably not.

  1. contact cases
  2. toilette paper
  3. collar stays
  4. socks
  5. milk
  6. eggs

I also started to realize that I wear 20% of my closet 80% of the time. I’m pretty sure thats true for most people. I’m going to increase that 20% number… by giving away clothes that I don’t wear.

I want less stuff.

  1. You’re right. I only get 20% of the closet space at my apartment, and I probably only wear 20% of the clothes in that tiny space.

So in theory, my wife should get 96% of the closet space.

  2. I’m curious why toilet paper is on your list. I understand milk and eggs. I guess you were thinking you’d be gone for a while and those things could go bad before you get back, but why toilet paper?

Also, until about a month ago, I had never even heard of a collar stay. I had no clue of what they even were. They’re such a guy thing.

  3. Very true, but I’m with Roxane. What the heck is a collar stay? They’re not a guy thing, cause I’ve polled a couple of them today, and we’re at a loss. (Of course, down here in southeast Arkansas, very few of us even have collars…)
