		<description>I think it has a lot to do with the simplicity of the ipod.  

ipods have crossed over from the &quot;techno-geek&quot; crowd to the mainstream because of its ease of use.  A 90 year old grandma could use an ipod ... while being totally lost when handed a PDA.

Once you get outside of the geek crowd, people are confused by computers, and the easiest thing to use will win out.  Thats my take. 

Whether the ipod will slowly become the next PDA, I dont know.  If they can do it while keeping the technologically inept on board, then well see the boom for PDA&#039;s.</description>
